Pavilion Violins - Warner
Titterton Luthier
Pavilion Violins has been setup in central Brighton to aim to meet
the growing demand for instruments which do the same job as the
old Cremonese instruments at a fraction of the price i.e Fiddles
that work.
I have played the violin since the age of five and have been
a repairer and restorer for thirty five years and a professional
maker for twenty years, training with an English maker and learning
from the Masters in Cremona and Hungary.
My experience as a violinist playing in a various styles has enabled
me to produce instruments which are easy to play, responsive and
with a sound which is mature and projects well.
My clients are able to choose a model which suits their requirements
whether they be a professional or a serious amateur. My instruments
are constructed using Classical Cremonese methods and are entirely
handmade with traditional tools. The final setting up of the violin
is carefully done, in consultation with the player, to ensure that
the instrument is easy to play and its tonal potential optimized.
My fiddles now embody the latest research into Cremonese acoustic
principles and varnishing techniques.
